HRBT: HAMPTON ROAD BRIDGE AND TUNNEL PROJECT
Project Description:Largest highway construction project in Virginia. Expands nearly 10 miles of I-64, adds twin two-lane bored tunnels, and includes bridge, trestle, island, and roadway improvements

Inspection, testing, temporary works design, design review, and shop drawings.
NORWAY-E18-E39 GARTNERLØKKA
Project description:
Major urban mobility project in Kristiansand. Includes 1.4 km 2×2-lane motorway, 12 structures, railway reconstruction, ferry terminal redevelopment, and multimodal infrastructure.
Real EC scope:
Independent engineering review for temporary and permanent works, including pipe pile wall and retaining structure verification.
VDOT - M6060 I64 HREL SEGMENT 4C
Project Description:LPart of Hampton Roads Express Lanes network. Widens I-64 (~2 miles in this segment), converts lanes into express and general-purpose lanes, with repaving and traffic improvements.
Real EC Scope: Engineering support services for I-64 widening, express lane conversion, roadway improvements, and traffic infrastructure development.
I464/i64 INTERCHANGE EXIT RAMP IMPROVEMENT
Project description: Improves connectivity at Exit 291 in Chesapeake, VA. Includes ramp widening, reconfiguration, and new flyover bridge for direct access.
ABIDJAN
METRO
Project description:
37 km metro line from Anyama to Port-Bouët/airport. Includes 18 stations, bridges, lagoon viaduct, and pedestrian infrastructure; capacity >500,000 passengers/day.
Real EC scope:
Structural engineering supports for temporary works, including calculation notes and drawings for station access/stairs.
PRT: POTOMAC RIVER TUNNEL PROJECT
Project description:The Potomac River Tunnel is a major phase of DC Water’s Clean Rivers Project. It includes a large-diameter deep sewer tunnel, diversion facilities, drop shafts, and support structures to capture combined sewer overflow along the Potomac River and convey it to the Blue Plains Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant. Public project materials identify the tunnel as approximately 5.5 miles long and 18 ft in diameter, with construction anticipated from 2024 to 2030.
Real EC scope:
Design and QC services for support of excavation, including secant piles, sheet piles, and rock excavation.
WMATA PLATFORM 4 IMPROVEMENT:
Project Description: Multi-year platform improvement program. Contract 4 includes upgrades to five Orange Line stations and six bridges over ~11 miles (2022–2023) .Real EC scope Platform reconstruction and rehabilitation of stations and bridges.
WMATA BETHESTA MEZZANINE:
Project Description: New south mezzanine connecting WMATA Red Line to futurePurple Line. Includes escalators, elevators, stairs, fare systems, and upgraded MEP/security systems. .Real EC scope Structural or temporary works supports.
